Founded by Stavros Karelis and Anna Trevelyan, MACHINE-A was conceptualised as a store offering both established and younger brands to the public. Both an incubator of talent and supporter of creativity, MACHINE-A’s ethos was picked up on by the like-minded Nick Knight, director of SHOWstudio. Resultantly, the two creative powerhouses merged in 2014 and have since continued to push boundaries in their providence of content, product and events. The SHOWstudio / MACHINE-A blog acts as a documenter of all the exciting ongoings, launches and releases SHOWstudio / MACHINE-A offers. One of the first retailers to stock Craig Green, Nasir Mazhar and A-COLD-WALL*, the retailer has a respected eye for talent, putting new brands adjacent to names such as Raf Simons, Maison Margiela and Gosha Rubchinskiy.
