Machine-A is the new generation of contemporary fashion. Byronesque is the new generation of contemporary vintage.

Together, we’re the new guard.

Vintage has always underpinned contemporary collections. Despite this connection they are still treated as oppositional influences; vintage relegated to the corner section for marketing affect, with little regard for design quality or meaning.

Byronesque believes that just because it’s old doesn’t mean it’s good and their ruthless edit of contemporary-vintage and future vintage edit of new season collections from Machine-A are now united at our Brewer Street store and online here.

Together, we’ve pulled together a collection of special pieces from designers’ archives that otherwise wouldn’t be available to buy if it weren’t for the new “Machine-B”.

The long running marriage between the two retail provocateurs kicks off with pieces from AS FOUR (1999-2004), GARETH PUGH (2008-2012), MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA (1994-2011) RAF SIMONS (2000-2016) and RICK OWENS (2002-2016).
