Martine Rose

Starting her career as a menswear shirting label, British fashion designer Martine Rose presented her debut collection of 10 shirts at Blacks private members club in Soho in 2007. Taking inspiration from 90’s South London subcultures, Rose developed a unique aesthetic which caught the attention of Lulu Kennedy of Fashion East. Kennedy supported Rose in creating an installation for the first menswear day on the London Fashion Week schedule. Since debuting her first catwalk collection as part of Fashion East, Martine Rose as a brand has grown and gained momentum, being awarded in 2014 the British Fashion Council sponsored NEWGEN Award and was nominated for the ANDAM award for emerging designers in 2017.
