SULVAM began after Japanese designer Teppei Fujita left Yohji Yamamoto, having worked there as a pattern cutter. We can see the influence this must have had on Fujita’s work. Since SULVAM launched in 2013, the slouchy tailoring and purposeful imperfectness of their designs creates a silhouette that drapes on the body perfectly and artistically.
